Notches Multi-Asset EMS Honor for 4th Consecutive Year At Markets’ Choice Awards 2016
NEW YORK, March 1, 2016 – FlexTrade Systems, Inc., a global leader in multi-asset execution and order management systems, today announced the company was honored as Best Multi-Asset EMS and Best FX EMS provider at Markets Media’s Markets’ Choice Awards ceremony, which was held in New York City on February 24.
According to MarketsMedia: “Multi-asset/cross asset algorithmic trading is the cornerstone of FlexTrade’s flagship, fully customizable EMS with pre-defined trading strategies for portfolio and single-security trading. It also offers pre-trade, real-time and post-trade analytics as well as predictive analytics, risk- and cost-optimized portfolio trade scheduling.”
FlexTrade’s flagship EMS is FlexTRADER, which can be used for trading individual securities and portfolios in equities, FX, equity options, futures and fixed income. It provides out-of-the-box cross asset trading strategies that can be customized, global access to broker algorithms, and the ability to build proprietary algorithms. The FX EMS component of FlexTRADER is FlexFX, which enables traders to manage and efficiently execute large numbers of orders (block size or small) across multiple value dates by optimally blocking/netting the SPOT component and accessing liquidity venues based on account and broker restrictions.
According to Jamie Benincasa, Senior Vice President, FlexTrade, it’s a great honor to be recognized in the Best Multi-Asset EMS and FX EMS categories, especially this year, which is FlexTrade’s 20th Anniversary. “It’s really a testament to all the hard work and research our developers and support staff have put into our trading solutions,” said Benincasa. “Complex multi-asset/cross-asset trading requirements have certainly come into their own in recent years. During 2015 we had great advancements in our EMS capabilities, particularly in equities, derivatives and fixed income. But we’ve also continued to expand and improve our FX functionality, which we anticipate will be growing in demand in 2016.”
The Market’s Choice Awards span more than 25 categories across exchanges, sell-side desks, institutional buy-side investors, hedge funds, and technology providers. Nominees and winners are determined via online readership submissions, as well as interviews with senior market participants who are their colleagues, customers and competitors.
